As Conservation & Stewardship Director, Katie provides leadership and strategic vision in supporting and managing conservation easements and land stewardship projects across the state. She collaborates with various partners while maintaining the Land Trust’s mission. Katie has loved calling Wyoming home since 2015, and she is excited about supporting Wyoming’s agricultural and wild landscape in her role.

Prior to joining the Land Trust, Katie worked in the environmental consulting industry, managing natural resource surveys and permitting for renewable energy and oil and gas projects. Katie also worked for Colorado State Forest Service, assisting in ecological restoration projects. She has significant experience working with natural resources across the western U.S. and is passionate about science and conservation of wildlife habitat.
In her free time, Katie enjoys dancing classical ballet, reading, and managing her small-scale urban homestead in Laramie, which consists of six chickens, approximately 120,000 honeybees, and one small, sassy dog.
