DJ Healy, Board Member

DJ Healy is the President of LU Ranch Co. in Wyoming and the fourth generation of his family to lead the historic LU Ranch, a multi-generation cattle operation in the foothills of the Absaroka Mountains that spans more than 150,000 acres of private and public lands. He grew up working on the ranch through high school and college and returned to Wyoming to take over management when his father, Mike Healy, retired in 2018. The ranch has been in the Healy family since 1935 and blends traditional horsemanship with modern stewardship practices, emphasizing sustainable grazing, advanced genetics, and careful land management. DJ’s leadership reflects both his deep family roots in ranching and a commitment to ecological stewardship and community engagement in Wyoming’s working lands.

In recognition of his conservation efforts and commitment to sustainable ranching, DJ has been honored for his role in wildlife and livestock management, including partnering with government and non-government agencies to implement long-term habitat and resource projects on the ranch.
