Dylan Freeman, Conservation and Stewardship Manager

Dylan grew up outside Cheyenne, WY where he was actively involved in his family’s livestock operation. The youngest of three, he grew up active in both the 4H and FFA programs. Dylan raised and exhibited cattle, hogs, and sheep nationally. His early involvement in the livestock industry drove him to compete on Collegiate Livestock Judging teams at both Casper College and Colorado State University, while attaining a bachelors degree in Animal Science. Following his undergraduate degree, Dylan recieved his Juris Doctorate and Master of Arts in Environmental and Natural Resources from the University of Wyoming. While in law school, he had the privilege of interning with the office of Wyoming Governor, Matt Mead.

Before joining the Wyoming Stock Growers Land Trust team, Dylan spent several years as a Staff Attorney for the Wyoming Public Service Commision. Additionally, Dylan is a Freeman Livestock co-owner with his parents and two sisters. Freeman Livestock focuses on raising high-quality show sheep and breeding stock marketed all over the U.S.
