Jack Vollbrecht, Conservation & Stewardship Intern
As the Conservation and Stewardship Intern, Jack will spend the summer supporting annual monitoring efforts and assisting with conservation projects across Wyoming’s conserved lands. In this role, he gains hands-on experience with conservation easements and land stewardship while working alongside the Land Trust’s conservation staff.
Originally from Sartell, Minnesota, Jack recently earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Systems Science from the University of Wyoming, with a minor in Rangeland Ecology and Watershed Management and a certificate in Remote Sensing. He also served six years in the Wyoming National Guard and plans to pursue a master’s degree focused on voluntary wildlife conservation. His passion for conservation stems from a lifelong appreciation for natural resources and time spent exploring Wyoming’s rangelands and mountain landscapes.
Outside of work, Jack enjoys hunting, fishing, and attending rodeos, embracing the outdoor traditions that continue to inspire his commitment to conserving Wyoming’s working lands.
