Robert Heykoop, Board Member
Robert Heykoop is a Wyoming-based entrepreneur, financial professional, and community leader with more than four decades of service to agriculture and youth programs.
After growing up in northern Illinois, Heykoop moved to Wyoming in 1984 to study equine sciences and agricultural business, laying the foundation for a life rooted in the state. He later co-owned and operated multiple ServiceMaster franchises before transitioning into financial planning, earning the Chartered Financial Consultant designation and completing retirement planning studies through the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2018, Heykoop co-founded Traction Financial Partners, LLC, an SEC-registered independent investment advisory firm headquartered in Encampment, Wyoming, where he serves as CEO and Chief Compliance Officer.
Deeply committed to community service, Heykoop is President of the Wyoming State Fair Foundation, where he helped secure more than $1 million for the Wyoming State Fair Endowment ahead of schedule. He and his wife, Virginia, also support numerous agricultural, rodeo, and youth organizations across Wyoming and the region.
