Hometown: Jackson, WY

Occupation: Retired from a career spent in the investment business. After graduating from business school in 1985, worked in the investment operations of Prudential Insurance Co., investing in private equity, private debt, leveraged buyouts and management buyouts in the US and Asia. Lived in Hong Kong from 1990-1999 and invested throughout SE Asia. Established MBO Partners in 1992, the first management buyout fund in Asia, with two former Prudential colleagues. Moved to Jackson, WY in 1999 and started Flat Creek Investors, an investment firm with a concentrated portfolio of small cap US public equities. His professional credentials included Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
