USDA Undersecretary for the Environment and Natural Resources Robert Bonnie visited the Hat 2 Ranch this week to see conservation efforts undertaken by landowners Kasey and Ondi Shepperson. Executive Director Pamela Dewell joined the Sheppersons, NRCS and Meeteetse Conservation District staff to provide the Undersecretary a tour highlighting the permanent conservation easement held by the Stock Growers Land Trust and habitat enhancement projects supported by the NRCS Sage Grouse Initiative
